  • Having started her career at the prestigious D & J Ambrose in 1999 Abi then spent the next 20 years working in London’s top salons specialising in colour and educating other stylists.

    Abi’s love of people, incredible knowledge and natural eye for beautiful hair has gained her a loyal clientele and made her a sought after London stylist.

    Since becoming freelance in 2019 she has continued to build her following and in 2023 opened her own successful coworking salon space in Harpenden.

  • Daniel started his career in Paris. Always having been fascinated by the world of art and fashion industry, he started working at Paris Fashion Week for some of the top hair salons which led him to work on Paris Fashion Week.

    Understanding both the salon and fashion worlds, Daniel moved to London seen working alongside iconic hairdressers tending the hair of London’s celebrities and models during London and Paris Fashion Weeks.

    Daniel has been in the hair business for over 20 years, specialising in cutting and styling for all types of hair and loves creating styles that work with your natural hair and suits your own personality in all its form and shape.

I’ve been a hairdresser now for 15 years, and in the last year have made the move to Hunter Collective and become self-employed which I absolutely love! Here I’ve been able to give even more time and care to my clients and their hair because I’m able to manage my own appointments!

    My favourite aspects of hair are creating natural looking long lasting colours, with my specialty being highlights! So most of my beautiful clients are blonde like myself! This being said, I do also cut! Cut wise I specialise in long hair although I’m happy to mix it up!

  • Mark began bridal hair styling at the young age of 15. Self-taught with a passion for sharing his tips and tricks, Mark now has a global combined social media audience of more than 700,000 followers. To learn from Mark's experience, you can book Bridal and Hair Up-Do Workshops with a hands-on class size of 6-8 students.

    Alongside bridal parties and educating, Mark has been fortunate enough to style hair as a session stylist. TV credits include Strictly Come Dancing, Dancing On Ice, This Morning, The One Show and The Queen's Platinum Jubilee Concert. From photo shoots to commercials and red carpet events - Mark would love to share his knowledge with you!

    GROUP WORKSHOPS: Mark will demo 3-4 bridal and up-do hairstyles, which you will then try during the practical portion of the class - assisted by Mark. These demos will include how to prep properly and map out your style for easier styling, whilst also keeping up on the latest bridal and up-do trends and styling products. L’image 20’’ real-hair mannequins are provided for students to work on (these are the same mannequins used on @MarkJohnHair Instagram tutorials) so there's no need to provide a model. Mark will also cover proper lighting techniques, with a special focus on creating social media content. Following this, you can immediately apply your new skills by taking photos and videos of your own work to promote on your social media. Throughout the workshop, Mark will share all his tips and tricks, including the correct use of hair jewellery and accessories; these are also provided for you to practice styling placement.

    With over 30 years experience what she loves most about her work is connecting and building a relationship with clients, creating easy, lifestyle- friendly hair styles and bespoke colour work that doesn’t look like work.

    After working in the West End for 27yrs, she recently closed the doors on her Soho salon, Alaya, and joined the talented stylists at HC. She is a curly hair specialist, loves a tong and is always up for a restyle. Rachael works almost exclusively with cruelty free brands Oribe, Kevin Murphy and Paul Mitchell.

    She loves everything about being a hairstylist.
